Currently a branch of Venture House Entertainment, The BARS, was originally intended to be a review website for bar, restaurants, and venues around LA. However The Bar and Restaurant Society has taken on a larger role in music and entertainment. Our organization connects with band buyers, booking agents, and promoters to book shows and create late night events. The BAR Society has teamed up with Soul Satisfaction and as a result The BAR Society books artists at noteworthy venues such as The Cabana Club, The Pig N’ Whistle, The House of Blues, and more! We book a variety of musical genres through our events such as Rock the House LA and The Next Hit.
These are bar, restaurants, lounges, possibly even clubs that we frequent. These are our favorite spots to go and we know a good number of the staff. They have consistently offered something unique. We support these places and offer this blog as a place for them to advertise.
These are places we have reviewed that received our Cool Spot sticker. We may not go there often anymore, but they are pretty chill.
We review places we have gone to more than a handful of times. As a result we have enough information to accurately review these location. We do not bother reviewing places that we have only been to once or twice. That is common for other review sites, but not here. In fact do not read this blog as a review site.
These are anecdotes about places we have been to a few times. They are not actual reviews; they are what they are. We simply talk about how the night went at certain locations. That’s about it. If a blurb peaks your interest, by all means check the place out.
